| Background: |
AUSD currently has a contract with Sprint/Nextel to house a cell phone antennae on top of the Wood Middle School main classroom building. Sprint/Nextel contacted AUSD in December 2013 with a request to end the contract and remove the equipment. In January 2014, AUSD received documents to that effect. Over the spring, AUSD staff has been working with Sprint/Nextel representatives to coordinate the removal of the equipment and small enclosure. The removal of all equipment and the restoration of the site to the original conditions took place July 28-August 1, 2014.
The Board is asked to approve the documentation to accept the removal of the Sprint/Nextel cell phone antennae from the Wood Middle School campus. |
