Background:

Alameda Unified School District offers summer school to eligible Extended School Year (ESY) students in grades K-12, eligible Title 1 students in grades 4 & 5, and eligible English Language Learners (ELL) in grades 3-12.

Tonight we will be presenting the Board an overview of the programs that AUSD provided to continue educational opportunities to our neediest students

ELL - $61,825, Title 1, - $17,681 and Special Education $251,568 for a total of $331,074. This total does not include expenditures through August 2014. Special Education continued 2 weeks into August.
