On January 28, 2014, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel.
Resolution Number 14-0002 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $84,100 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
- Professional Service Agreement between AUSD and Soul Shoppe for a flat fee of $1500.00
- Standard Agreement between AUSD and Smith's Gopher Trapping Service for a total of $2,845.00
- Standard Agreement between AUSD and California Boilerworks for a total of $4,559.10
- Standard Agreement between AUSD and American Asphalt Repair and Resurfacing Co. for a total of $7,633.00

Standard Agreement between AUSD and Valley Crest Tree Care Services for a total of $2,215.00

Contract between AHS and KC Element for a total of $350.00.

Contract between AHS and Alameda Elks Lodge for a total fee of $300.00.

Consultant Services Agreement between AUSD and SCI Consulting Group for a total of $38,000.00

Printing Agreement between AUSD and Herff Jones, Inc. for a total of $58,278.00
