Ramos, founder of the Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, signed into law Assembly Bill 717 the “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day” Bill at the Twentynine Palms Marine Base. Jose G. Ramos had started his campaign in the 2000 in a grass roots effort to raise awareness around our Vietnam Veterans arrival home.
