| Background: | Earth Week 2015 is a time to promote awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment, sustainable living and earth awareness. Earth Week is also known as National Green Week 2015. The Alameda Unified School District has pledged to “Go Green” and continue our efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle throughout the District during Earth week and on a regular basis.
Tonight we present the Board with a report on Earth Day and how the District is meeting its targets and improvements. |
