On February 11, 2015, AUSD staff sent out a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Architectural Services to thirteen firms for the Measure I Bond Program. All thirteen firms submitted a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). An eight-member panel of AUSD staff (consisting of one Elementary School Principal, one Middle School Principal, the Chief Business Officer, the Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities, the Maintenance, Operations and Facilities Construction Project Manager, the Director of Fiscal Services, the Senior Manager of Community Affairs, and the Special Projects Coordinator) scored the SOQ for each architectural firm. Of the thirteen firms scored, the panel invited five architectural firms to participate in a presentation and interview process on March 17, 2015. The architectural firms gave a 15-minute presentation and were interviewed by the panel.
Based on the results of the SOQ, the presentations, and interviews by each of the applicants, the panel is recommending the architectural firm of Quatrocchi Kwok Architects be deemed qualified for architectural services in AUSD. | | Goals: | Create a system of attractive school options | | Fund: | | | Fund Codes: | 21 Building – Bond Fund | Fiscal Analysis
