Item Title:Approval of Measure I Bond Program Schedule - Option 5A

Background:

At the March 24th Board meeting, the Board reviewed and discussed five bond program project schedules.  The Board directed staff to return to the following board meeting with Option 5 on the Consent Agenda.  During the same board meeting, there was a discussion of the scheduled roofing projects for summer 2015 should be delayed to allow for a solar analysis.  The Bond Program Project Schedule Option 5A reflects the inclusion of a solar analysis and inquiry, as well as expert review of conservation and efficiency measures and strategies, to create a Conservation Efficiency Generation (CEG) Plan.  Option 5A pushes the scheduled roofing projects for summer 2015 to summer 2016 to allow for possible solar solutions on the planned twelve roofing projects.

 

Staff has also advanced the Technology/Communication project to begin the design and planning process in summer 2015 versus the original start time of fall 2015.
