| | | | | | | | | Item Title: | Approval of the Phase II Ruby Bridges Window Repair Construction Project | | Item Type: | Consent | | Background: | In alignment with Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 3311 for compliance with Public Contract Code 20111, two (2) bids for the Ruby Bridges Window and Door Water Intrusion Repair Project Phase II were reviewed by District staff and Legal Counsel on February 12, 2015 and the project was awarded to contractor Pinguelo Construction, Inc. Phase II is scheduled to be completed over summer 2015.
The project is being done as a result of a construction defect that was resolved through litigation with the original contractor.
