| Background: | At the Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016, a presentation will be made that summarizes the fiscal conditions of the Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) for the Budget Year and multi-year projections. Education Code 42127(a) and (b) require that school districts file an adopted operating budget for all funds with the County Superintendent of Schools by July 1 of each fiscal year and that a Public Hearing be held prior to the adoption of the budget.
