Background:

Alameda voters approved Measure I in November 2014, and the Updated Bond Program Project Schedule was approved at the July 22, 2015 board meeting.

As the bond program schedule dictates, there will be various contracts to come before the Board for approval.  Contracts may include construction bid contracts, architectural services contract addenda, and specialists/consultants agreements, to name a few.  Staff has created a standing board item to approve the bond program contracts to keep the bond program contracts separate from other contracts approval.

 

The following contracts related directly to the Measure I Bond Program are presented for ratification:

 

1. Project Addendum No. 211509 (AHS Seismic Mitigation) to Master Agreement for Architectural Services for Measure I Bond Projects between AUSD and Quattrocchi Kwok Architects, Inc. for a fixed fee of $152,300.00

 

  2. Project Addendum No. 211517 (AHS Modernization) to Master Agreement for Architectural Services for Measure I Bond Projects between AUSD and Quattrocchi Kwok Architects, Inc. for a fee of $2,891,500.
