| Background: |
Education Code Section 42632 provides that each order drawn on the funds of a school district shall be signed by at least a majority of the members of the governing board or by persons authorized by the board. As there are no board meetings in July, the Board of Education is requested to appoint the Superintendent and/or the Chief Business Officer as the authorized representatives to sign orders drawn on the funds of the District and to notify the Board of such actions at its August 11, 2020 meeting.
