Item Title: | Approval of Resolution No. 2019-2020.55 Education Protection Account (EPA) Spending Plan for 2020-2021 (5 Mins/Action) | Item Type: | Action | Background: | Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 36 of the California Constitution, school districts, county offices of education, and community college districts are required to determine how the money received from the Education Protection Account will be spent in the schools within its jurisdiction. The language in the constitutional amendment requires that funds shall not be used for the salaries and benefits of administrators or any other administrative costs.
Before June 30th of each year, the District estimates the total amount of additional revenues that will be available for transfer into the Education Protection Account.
