On January 14, 2020, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Resolution Number 2019-2020.25 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $95,200 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 13) Food Service Agreement between AUSD and ACLC according to the following price schedule: Full Cost Breakfast @ $2.00/student, Full Cost Lunch @ $3.50/elementary student, $4.00/middle school student, and $4.25/high school student. Reduced Pay Breakfast will cost $.30 and Reduced Pay Lunch will cost $.40.
2. (Fund 13) Food Service Agreement between AUSD and NEA Community Learning Center according to the following price schedule: Full Cost Breakfast @ $2.00/student, Full Cost Lunch @ $3.50/elementary student, $3.75/middle school student, and $4.00/high school student. Reduced Pay Breakfast will cost $.30 and Reduced Pay Lunch will cost $.40.
3. (Fund 13) Food Service Agreement between AUSD and The Phillips Academy according to the following price schedule: Breakfast @ $2.00/student, Lunch @ $3.50/elementary student, $4.00/middle school student, and $4.25/high school student.
4. (Fund 13) Food Service Agreement between AUSD and Academy of Alameda according to the following price schedule: Full Cost Breakfast @ $2.00/student, Full Cost Lunch @ $3.50/elementary student, $3.75/middle school student, and $4.00/high school student. Reduced Pay Breakfast will cost $.30 and Reduced Pay Lunch will cost $.40.
5. (Fund 13) Child Care Center Food Service Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Family Services - Head Start according to the following price schedule: Breakfast @ $2.00/student, Lunch @ $3.50/student, Snack @ $2.00/student.
6. (Fund 13) Child Care Center Food Service Agreement between AUSD and Bright Horizons according to the following price schedule: $3.50/per meal.
7. (Fund 01) Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and DSB+ Commercial Floor Finishes for an informally bid amount of $115, 649.00.
8. (Fund 01) Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and American Chiller Service Inc. for a total of $52,201.00.
9. (Fund 01) Work Order #14 to Agreement for Consulting Services (Real Estate) between AUSD and Economic & Planning Systems, Inc. for a total not to exceed $25,000.00.
10. (Fund 01) Student Information Software Maintenance and Support Agreement and Subscription Agreement between AUSD and Aeries Software, Inc. for a total of $85,429.40.
11. (Fund 01) Master Contract Amendment to Community Based Organization Master Contract No. 900333 between AUSD and the County of Alameda for funding not to exceed $60,149.
