Item Title:Ratification of Contracts Executed Pursuant to Board Policy 3300

Background:
 

On January 14, 2020, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Resolution Number 2019-2020.25 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $95,200 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense. 

The following contracts are presented for ratification: 

    

1. (Fund 01) Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and Prime Mechanical for a total of $56,892.00.

2. (Fund 01) Installation and Services Agreement between AUSD and Bay Alarm Company for a total of $56,540.00.

3. (Fund 14) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and MBS Engineering for a total of $59,302.00.

4. (Fund 01) ASES Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Edventure More (dba Camp Edmo) for a total of $165,902.00. (Ruby Bridges)

5. (Fund 01) ASES Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) for a total of $113,841.76. (Love)

6. (Fund 01) ASES Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Bay Area Music Project (Alameda Music Project) for a total of $105,195.92. (Maya Lin)

7. (Fund 01) ASES Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Academy of Alameda for a total of $114,414.22.
