On January 14, 2020, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.
Resolution Number 2019-2020.25 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $95,200 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 01) Standard Agreement between AUSD and Chipman Relocation & Logistics for a total sum of $45,000.00.
2. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and STAC Physical Therapy Emeryville for an hourly rate of $115.00 and a total increase of $107,870.00.
3. (Fund 01) Addendum to AUSD K12 SWP Round 1 Steam Ahead Contract between AUSD and ACOE for a reimbursed total not to exceed $44,384.00.
4. (Fund 01) Addendum to AUSD K12 SWP Round 1 Alignment Bay Area Contract between AUSD and ACOE for a reimbursed total not to exceed $7,082.00.
5. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Apodoca Mechanical Consulting for an hourly rate of $135.00 and a total not to exceed $30,000.00.
6. (Fund 01) 2020-2021 General, Fiscal and Operational Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Alternatives in Action (AIA).
7. (Fund 01) 2020-2021 General, Fiscal and Operational Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Academy of Alameda (AOA).
8. (Fund 01) 2020-2021 General, Fiscal and Operational Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Community Learning Center Schools (CLCS).
9. (Fund 01) Termination of Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Therapia Staffing, LLC. effective November 3, 2020.
