Item Title:Approval of Appointment of North Region SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Representatives for AUSD

Background:

Staff are proposing the following two candidates as AUSD's representatives to the North Region SELPA Community Advisory Committee (CAC).

 

1. Ms. Caroline Brossard

2. Ms. Alaa Muhsin (Alternate)

 

Both are Maya Lin Elementary School parents and have already contributed greatly to district planning processes. They would be strong contributors and advisors in their role as AUSD representatives to the SELPA CAC.

 

They will represent AUSD in the SELPA CAC for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and the 2021-2022 school year.

 

AUSD LCAP Goals:3. Support parent/guardian development as knowledgeable partners and effective advocates for student success.
