Item Title:Ratification of Contracts Executed Pursuant to Board Policy 3300

Background:
 

On January 12, 2021, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Resolution Number 2020-2021.26 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $96,700 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense. 

The following contracts are presented for ratification: 

    

1. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Pediatric Therapy Services, LLC dba as the Stepping Stones Groupe for an increase of $90,096.00 and a new total cost of $238,024.00. 

2. (Fund 01) Amendment No.1 to Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and Construction West for an increase of $2,238.00 and a new total cost of $39,201.00.

3. (Fund 01) Amendment No.1 to Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and Pioneer Roofing for an increase of $25,000.00 and a new total cost of $45,000.00.

4. (Fund 01) Contract for Services (California Children and Families First Act of 1998) between AUSD and First 5 Alameda County with a total of $63,344.00 received. 

5. (Fund 14) Amendment No. 3 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and MBS Engineering for an increase of $23,538.00and a total value of $247,963.00.
