| Background: | Tonight, the District is requesting the Board approve staff's recommendation to adjust the title and salary of the current Director of Special Education to Senior Director of Special Education. This position will report directly to the Chief Student Support Officer (CSSO). This change in title and increase in salary is necessary to be able to recruit the most qualified candidates for this very competitive, hard-to-fill position.
The job duties and responsibilities will remain the same as they were when the job title was Director of Special Education. |
