As a condition of receiving the Expanded Learning Opportunity Grant, the Alameda Unified School District must develop a plan to implement supplemental instruction and support strategies for students using these funds. The Board of Education must adopt the Expanded Learning Opportunity Grant Plan (Plan) on or before June 1, 2021, and it must be submitted to the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE) within five days of adoption. Parents and school site staff must have an opportunity to be involved in the development of the Plan.
On April 27, 2021, the District sent surveys to families and staff requesting input to help prioritize resources. The Board of Education discussed proposed expenditures on May 11, 2021, and provided further guidance to staff. Tonight, staff is presenting the Expanded Learning Opportunity Grant Plan to the Board for adoption and submission to ACOE.
*NOTE: The Board will discuss the ELOGP plan under General Business item #2. Based on Board's guidance and discussion, the form documents for the plan will be filled out and uploaded here during the meeting.
