Background: |
Education Code Sections 17545 and 17546 authorize that the Board of Education may through its designated agent legally dispose of surplus equipment that is in such a state of obsolescence or disrepair that it should be disposed of and removed from district inventory.
Exhibit A of Resolution No. 2021-2022.32 contains a list of surplus materials that are broken, damaged, or obsolete. This property is no longer required for district use and should be disposed of as appropriate.
