As we continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic locally and globally, Superintendent Scuderi will update the Board and community on AUSD’s efforts to keep our students and staff as safe as possible. Tonight’s presentation will cover the following topics:
- AUSD’s commitment to keeping our schools open. With media outlets packed with news about the Omicron variant of COVID-19, we want to address some of the questions and concerns related to school that are no doubt present, in varying degrees, across Alameda.
- Information on steps we have taken and will continue to take to keep students and staff safe.
- A review some scenarios we should all be mindful of as we work through the winter together.
