Background:

A considerable number of  K-12 grade students suffer from mental health issues affecting relationships at home, in school, and in the community. Protecting the health and well-being of our students is an ethical responsibility of all professionals working on a school site along with families, students, and public agencies.

 

To call attention to the work we do to help youth and families, Alameda Unified School District proclaims September as Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

AUSD LCAP Goals:1. Eliminate barriers to student success and maximize learning time.| 4. Ensure that all students have access to basic services.
