Background:

In the primary election held on June 7, 2022, 56.34% of Alameda voters approved Measure B, a facilities bond, and the Registrar of Voters of Alameda County has duly canvassed the returns of the election as required by law. The $298 million bond will provide revenue for modernizing classrooms at AUSD middle schools, updating athletic facilities and performance spaces at AUSD high schools, and constructing a new classroom building to replace the main building at Otis Elementary School. 

 

Resolution 2022-2023.04 is a formal declaration by the Board of Education of the results of Measure B.
