On October 25th, staff presented the Board of Education with a brief background of AUSD's kindergarten program over the years, why the change to a full-day program would be beneficial, enrollment numbers over the past few years, what neighboring districts are providing, three different scheduling options, as well as an implementation timeline.

Tonight's presentation provides additional information around a modified full-day program and a full-day program. Based on guidance received from the Board, staff will begin implementation of the preferred schedule.
