Background: |
The Grading for Equity Workgroup formed during the 2021-22 school year has been working on piloting and developing a long term plan to shift AUSD to equitable grading practices. As part of this work, AUSD's grading policies would need to be realigned.
- BP/AR 5121 Grades/Evaluation of Student Achievement
Tonight, staff seek input and feedback from the community and members of the subcommittee on moving forward with the revision of BP/AR 5121 as submitted.
On direction from the subcommittee, the policy can either be brought back with suggested edits to the next subcommittee meeting, or presented to the full Board for review and approval at a subsequent regular meeting of the Board of Education.
