Background: | BP/AR 5121: Grades/Evaluation of Students was discussed at the last subcommittee meeting on August 10, 2023. Changes made during this meeting were incorporated in the policy. The revised policy was then shared with teaching staff during Professional Development on October 9, 2023.
Today, staff is sharing feedback gathered from the October 9th Professional Development session with the members of the Board Policy Subcommittee. After further review and discussion of BP/AR 5121, one of the following three action steps will be taken:
- The policy and administrative regulation will be added to the next Board Policy Subcommittee meeting for further discussion and possible revision by Subcommittee members.
- The policy and administrative regulation will be added to the agenda for a regularly scheduled Board meeting so the full Board can weigh in on any further changes in public.
- The policy and administrative regulation will be approved as is by the full Board at a regularly scheduled public Board meeting.
