The new course description for AP African American Studies was presented to the Board at the November 28th Board of Education Meeting and is being brought back for final approval. The course will be offered in the Fall of 2024.

Prerequisite: None

Elective/Required: Required; option to US History for 11th graders, open to 12th graders as an elective "G"

Grade Level: 11th and 12th

Subject Area: Social Science "A"

Length: One year

Credits: 10
