Education Code Sections 17545 and 17546 authorize that the Board of Education may, through its designated agent, legally dispose of surplus equipment in such a state of obsolescence or disrepair that it should be disposed of and removed from district inventory.
Exhibits A, B, C, D, E, F and G contain a list of either damaged or obsolete materials or surplus property no longer required for district use, or materials to be stored that are not currently needed at at the site.
Board approval of Resolution No. 2024-2025.05 will authorize staff to dispose of these items as most appropriate and as aligned with Administrative Regulation 3270: Sale and Disposal of Books, Equipment, and Supplies.
