Item Title:Ratification of Contracts Executed Pursuant to Board Policy 3300

Background:
 

On January 9, 2024, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, and the Purchasing Manager.



Resolution Number 2023-2024.35 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $114,500 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense. 

 

1. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Master Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Pine Health for an increase of $250,000 and an amended total of $750,000.00.

2. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Master Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and New Directions Solutions dba ProCare Therapy for an increase of $200,000 and an amended total of $500,000.00.

3. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and KCE Champions, LCC for a correction to compensation of $2,304 per TK/K cohort (listed as $2,034 in original MOU).

4. (Fund 01) Master Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ro Health for varying hourly/daily rates with a total not to exceed $750,000.00.

5. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and High Expectations Consulting, LLC for a per session rate of $3,870.00 and a total not to exceed $35,000.00.

6. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Jake Beales for an hourly rate of $30.00 and a total not to exceed $40,000.00.

7. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and The Education Team for various hourly rates and a total not to exceed $50,000.00.

8. (Fund 01) Exclusive Contract Class Agreement between AUSD and Peralta Community College District for $200/hour for 140 hours totaling $28,000.00 of instructional cost.
