Item Title: | Approval of Joint Use Agreement with Alameda Little League for Use of Baseball Fields at Wood Middle School (5 Mins/Action) |
Item Type: | Action |
Background: | AUSD and Alameda Little League are long-time partners. This joint-use agreement replaces the recently expired agreement governing Little League’s use of the baseball fields at Wood Middle School. The agreement gives Little League priority use of the fields when school is not in session. In consideration for this priority, Little League agrees to maintain both of the Wood fields, as well as the new proposed light fixtures at one of the fields.
Based on community feedback, this agreement restricts the months, days, and times when the new lights can be used by Little League.
The agreement lasts for five years and is renewable for an additional five-year term. |
