Background:
Pursuant to Board Bylaw 9150: Student Board Members, the Board of Education believes it is important to seek out and consider students' ideas, viewpoints and reactions to the educational program. In order to provide student input and involvement, the Board includes one Student Board Member from Alameda, ASTI, Encinal, and Island high schools.
 
The following Student Board Member was chosen by her representative high school:

The Superintendent will swear in the Student Board Member who will be seated at tonight's meeting.
