On January 27, 2015, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel.
Resolution Number 14-0002 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $86,000 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
- Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Acamedy of Alameda Elementary/Middle School ASES Funded Program for a total not to exceed $121,126.00 (grant funded)
- Professional Service Agreement between AUSD and Advanced Inspections, Inc. for a total not to exceed $47,520.00
NOTE: Contract #1, MOU between AUSD and Academy of Alameda Elementary/Middle School ASES Funded Program, was presented and approved at the June 23 Board meeting. The contract is back for ratification due to the removal of the administration fee, resulting in a reduced price.
