| Item Title: | Resolution No. 2015-2016.01 Appointment of Authorized Agents for the Board of Education | | Item Type: | Consent | | Background: | Education Code Sections 42632 and 35161 provide that the Board of Education may appoint agents and officers to act on its behalf and to certify or attest to actions taken by the Board and to sign district documents, orders and agreements.
The list of authorized agents shall be submitted to the Alameda County Office of Education prior to the approval of any order of the release of funds from the District.
The District has had recent changes in department administrators. This resolution appoints the following as Authorized Agents:
- Sean McPhetridge, Superintendent of Schools
- Barbara Adams, Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services
- Shariq Khan, Interim Chief Business Officer
- Tim Erwin, Chief Human Resources Officer
- Chad Pimentel, General Counsel
