| Item Title: | Approval of Measure I Lum Schematic Design (10 Mins/Action) | | Item Type: | Action | | Background: | Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) will present the schematic design for the modernization project at Lum Elementary School. This is the first step toward implementing the needed facility improvements identified in the 2014 Facilities Master Plan. This modernization project will address a number of maintenance items including roofing, exterior window replacement, replacement of rooftop gas piping and electrical conduits, replacement of leaking hot water heating piping to classroom building 4 and the multi-use building, and two site accessibility upgrades.
As indicated in the board approved Implementation Plan, other modernization work at Lum Elementary School will be completed at a future date.
