A Proposition 39 general obligation bond measure requires the creation of a Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (BOC).  AUSD voters approved Measure I in November 2014 with 62.75% approval.

On November 15, 2016, the Board approved two new members who met two of the open four categories of members to sit on  the seven-member committee. By the earlier deadline of October 17, 2016, The District had not received applications for the remaining two categories of a member active in bona fide taxpayer association or a business representative. The District continued to seek additional applications from the community for these openings. 

On November 15, 2016, the Board received an application for the open member active in a bona fide taxpayer association. Superintendent Sean McPhetridge reviewed the application and recommends the following for membership:

1.     Member Active in a Bona Fide Taxpayer Association: Anne McKereghan

As before, the District will continue seeking additional applications from the community for the remaining opening of business representative.
