Background:

On November 30, 2016, the Alameda Education Association (AEA) and Alameda Unified School District (AUSD) entered a Memorandum of Understanding regarding calendar development for the 2017-18 , 2018-19 , and 2019-20 school years.

 

The Board of Education approved the 2017-2018 school year calendar at its February 14th Board meeting. The joint Calendar Committee has met several times this Winter and Spring and presented two calendar options for each school year to the AEA membership.

 

 The attached calendars are the versions chosen by the Association and are now presented for Board approval.
