Background:	The schematic design for the Ruby Bridges School Measure I Bond project includes work derived from the District Master Plan, the Measure I Implementation Plan (Plan B), and priorities as expressed by the site staff through a series of site committee meetings. Phase 1 of the Ruby Bridges Modernization has been developed to provide two (2) remodeled classrooms, an interior toilet room at the MPR, improved accessibility to the kindergarten classrooms, safety and security upgrades and technology and communications upgrades. Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) will present the schematic design to the Board for approval.
