Background:

Recent structural analysis performed based on a soil analysis at Lum Elementary revealed that the facilities are not safe for long-term continued use. 

 

Tonight representatives from Miller Pacific Engineer Group, Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA), and ZFA Structural Engineers will be on hand again to provide further detail on the findings of the soil/geotechnical report.

 

Also attending in order to provide further detail is Steve Curry of Murphy Burr Curry, Inc, Structural Engineers. Murphy Burr Curry was contracted by the District to render a second opinion on the structural viability of Lum Elementary School.
