At its January 23 meeting, a representative from the audit firm Christy White Accountancy Corporation presented the District’s Measure I Bond Audit Report for 2016-2017 to the Board. The Board approved the Audit Report, however following the Board meeting an error was noted regarding the committee membership listed for the 2016-2017 year (pg 1). Christy White Accountancy Corporation has updated the Audit Report, and it is being brought back to the Board for approval.

Each year, a school district is required by law to review at a public meeting the annual audit of the school district’s financial records for the prior fiscal year. The audit examines the District’s compliance with state and federal standards and procedures in order for the District to implement sound fiscal management practices for the most effective and efficient use of public funds.
