On January 9, 2018, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel.
Resolution Number 2017-2018.35 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $90,200 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 13) Food Services Agreement between AUSD and The Phillips Academy according to the following price schedule: Breakfast @ $1.75/student, Lunch @ $3.00/elementary student, $3.50/middle school student, and $3.75/high school student.
2. (Fund 13) Food Services Agreement between AUSD and Academy of Alameda according to the following price schedule: Full Cost Breakfast @ $1.75/student, Full Cost Lunch @ $3.00/elementary student, $3.50/middle school student, and $3.75/high school student. Reduced Pay Breakfast will cost $.30 and Reduced Pay Lunch will cost $.40.
3. (Fund 13) Food Services Agreement between AUSD and Bright Horizons Family Solutions LLC according to the following price schedule: Lunch @ $3.00/student.
4. (Fund 13) Food Services Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Family Services - Head Start/Early Head Start according to the following price schedule: Breakfast @ $1.75/student, Lunch @ $3.00/student, Dinner @ $3.00/student, Snack @ $1.00/student.
5. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Nirelle Collins for a total not to exceed $97,200.00.
6. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Alameda Family Services for a flat fee not to exceed $340,000.00.
7. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Renaissance Learning, Inc. for a flat fee not to exceed $53,074.07.
8. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ellen Hoke Corp. for a total not to exceed $43,500.00.
9. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ro Health Inc. for a total not to exceed $25,000.00.
10. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Maxim Healthcare Services for a total not to exceed $40,000.00.
11. (Fund 01) Work Order #9 to Agreement between AUSD and Economic & Planning Systems, Inc. for a total not to exceed $25,000.00.
12. (Fund 01) Master Services Agreement between AUSD and IO Education for an annual licensing fee of $37,284.00.
13. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and the Regents of the University of California for a total of $40,000.00.
14. Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Edventure More for a total of $165,464.67 (ASES Grant Funded).
15. Amendment to Memorandum of Understanding between AUSD and Edventure More for an increase of $36,917.05 (ASES Grant Funded).
16. (Fund 01) Agreement between AUSD and Alameda County Office of Education for Escape Technology, Inc. School Business Software and System Support Services for the following costs per fiscal year: FY2018-2019: $312,444.50; FY2019-2020: $261,650.00; FY2020-2021: $302,899.50.
