Background:

Alameda voters approved Measure I in November 2014, and the Bond Program Project Schedule: Option 5A was approved at the April 14, 2015 board meeting.

As the bond program schedule dictates, there will be various contracts to come before the Board for approval.  Contracts may include construction bid contracts, architectural services contract addenda, specialists/consultants agreements, etc. Staff has created a standing board item to approve the bond program contracts to keep the bond program contracts separate from the approval of other contracts.

 

The following contracts related directly to the Measure I Bond Program are presented for ratification:

 

1. (Fund 21) Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Miller Pacific Engineering Group for a flat fee not to exceed $356,000.00.

2. (Fund 21) Change Order #001 to Lease-Leaseback Agreement between AUSD and Lathrop Construction Associates, Inc. for an increase of $183.162.36.

3. (Fund 21) Change Order #001 to Lease-Leaseback Agreement between AUSD and Alten Construction for an increase of $71,519.52.

4. (Fund 21) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and ACC Environmental for a flat fee not to exceed $3,258.24.

5. (Fund 21) Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and ACC Environmental for an increase of $1330.00.

6. (Fund 21) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and 3QC, Inc. for a total fee of $61,650.00.

7. (Fund 21) Change Order #006 to Lease-Leaseback Agreement between AUSD and Lathrop Construction Associates, Inc. for an increase of $913,770.00.

8. (Fund 21) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Wallace Kuhl and Associates for an hourly amount estimated at $27,000.00.

9. (Fund 21) Standard Agreement between AUSD and Subtronic Corporation for the sum of $1,954.00.

10. (Fund 21) Contract Incorporating County of Merced Fast Open Contracts Utilization Services Proposal Number 2015109 for Providing Technology Expertise, Equipment, Services and Systems between AUSD and AMS.Net, Inc. for a total initial costof $452,140.58.

11. (Fund 21) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and School Facility Consultants for a flat fee not to exceed $80,500.00.
