Item Title:Approval to Accept Bid Award for Fresh Produce for Fiscal Year 2018-2019

Background:

In alignment with Board Policy and Administrative Regulation 3311 for compliance with Public Contract Code 20111, AUSD posted a Request for Proposal (RFP #018-061-01) for AUSD Produce Bid Request 2018-2019 on July 18, 2018 and July 25, 2018. Four (4) organizations submitted by the deadline of 2:00 pm on July 31, 2018. The sealed bids were opened and reviewed by staff on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

 

Staff recommends the award for RFP #018-061-01for AUSD Produce Bid Request 2018-2019 be awarded to low bidder Daylight Foods. 

 

The contract between AUSD and Daylight Foods will be presented to the Board on August 28, 2018 for ratification.
