If elected, the nominated Board member will serve Region 7, Subregion B as a Delegate Assembly member and submit nomination papers to participate in the upcoming Delegate Assembly election.
Delegates for Region 7, Subregion B set the general educational policy direction and fulfill a critical governance role within the association through the adoption of the Policy Platform and other policy statements as needed. They act as liaisons between CSBA and local board members in their regions. Any CSBA member board is eligible to nominate Board members within its geographical region or subregion. Each Board may nominate as many individuals as it chooses.
A Board member must be formally nominated by a board in the region or subregion and may be nominated by his or her own district or county office. The nomination is an action that is taken in a public Board meeting and requires a majority vote.
All nomination materials must be submitted and postmarked by the U.S. Post Office on or before Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. It is the responsibility of the nominee to confirm that all nomination materials have been received by the CSBA Executive Office by the due date. Late submissions cannot be accepted.
