On January 9, 2018, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel.
Resolution Number 2017-2018.35 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $90,200 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and American Logistics Company, LLC for a total not to exceed $62,500.00.
2. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Ellen Hoke, Corporation for a total not to exceed $37,500.00.
3. (Fund 01) Second Amendment to Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Bright Path Therapists for an increase of $73,920.00.
4. (Fund 01) Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Special Services between AUSD and School Services of California for a total not to exceed $45,000.00.
5. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Autism Partnership for a total not exceed $33,000.00.
6. (Fund 01) Consulting Services Agreement between AUSD and Pristine Rehab Care LLC for a estimated amount of $64,000.00.
7. (Fund 01) Standard Agreement between AUSD and MBS Engineering, Inc. for a sum of $52,067.62.
