Background:

This item proposes the revision of one secondary course to more accurately articulate within an established Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathway. 

 

Sports Medicine 2/Emergency Medicine (EMT):

Prerequisite: Sports Medicine 1

Elective/Required: CTE Pathway Elective

Grade Level: 11-12

Subject Area: CTE- Health Professions and Patient Care

Length: One year

Credits: 10

Proposed by: Alameda High School

 

Also proposed are three new secondary courses.  The first is the beginning course in a new CTE Biotechnology Pathway.  The second is focused on the Model United Nations program.  The third is a redesign of the traditional ‘Yearbook Class.’
