Background:

Each year during the Board's Annual Organization Meeting and in accordance with Board Bylaw 9130: Board Committees and Board Bylaw 9140: Board Representatives, the Board assigns members to its standing committees and assigns representatives to other public agencies or organizations.

 

Since the Board's Annual Organizational Meeting in December, several committees have been formed that would benefit from having Board representation. 

 

Student Board Members have also expressed an interest in being a part of Board Committees and Non-AUSD Committees. Tonight, Student Board Members will have the opportunity to voice their desire in serving on some of the Board committees and Non-AUSD committees as outlined.
