| Background: | At the April 10, 2016 Board meeting, the Board approved additional staff in the Maintenance, Operations and Facilities Department in order to accommodate the anticipated work of the Measure I Bond Program. This additional staff included the creation of an Office Assistant position.
As the bond program increases to full implementation with several major projects ongoing, the staffing needs have changed. Tonight staff is asking the Board to approve the closure of the current 1.0 FTE Office Assistant position and the creation of a 1.0 FTE Staff Secretary II position for the Measure I Bond Program. |
