On February 12, 2019, the Board of Education delegated authority to enter into contracts on behalf of the Alameda Unified School District and to purchase supplies, materials, apparatus, equipment, and services up to the amounts specified in Public Contract Code 20111 and Education Code section 17604 to the Superintendent of Schools, Chief Student Support Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Business Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and the General Counsel.
Resolution Number 2018-2019.28 further limited the delegation to expenditures of less than $92,600 and required that the Board of Education ratify the contracts within sixty (60) days of incurring the expense.
The following contracts are presented for ratification:
1. (Fund 01) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Renaissance Learning, Inc. for 2019-2022 for a flat fee not to exceed $198,285.63.
2. (Fund 01) Contract for Repairs, Maintenance or Small Construction Projects between AUSD and Gachina Landscape Management for a total of $59,995.00.
3. (Fund 25) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Panaguiton Construction Inspection for an hourly rate of $90/hour with a total not to exceed $9,108.00.
4. (Fund 25) Professional Services Agreement between AUSD and Advance Construction Inspection for an hourly rate of $90/hour with a total not to exceed $33,120.00.
