In support of strengthening student academic achievement, each school district that receives Title I Part A funds must develop a written parental involvement policy. This policy (BP 6020) comes before the Board annually and requires Board approval.
The policy has recently been reviewed by the Board Policy Subcommittee on October 1, 2019 and is being presented for approval by the Board.
Pursuant to Board Policy 6020, Title I schools must also annually review and revise site Parent Involvement Policies with stakeholders. The policies for the following Title I schools are attached for approval by the board:
- Paden Elementary
- Ruby Bridges Elementary
- Wood Middle School
The Parent Involvement Policy for Love Elementary will be presented to the Board at a future board meeting after their Site Council meeting is held.
