| Background: | The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has a legal requirement to obtain a district governing board’s approved list of representatives to the league. Education Code gives the authority for high school administrators to join high school governing boards. The Education Code also requires that the boards, after joining CIF, designate their representatives to CIF leagues (Ed Code 33353 (a)(1)). Tonight we seek approval of AUSD’s CIF representatives from Alameda and Encinal Jr./Sr. High Schools. |
